X’s Long-Term Indication For Summarized Trends Before Grok AI chatbot
Already, the social media platform has shown indications of summarizing trending information over the past years. While operating as Twitter in 2020, the platform included descriptions and headlines to its trending news. However, the development had no AI-powered assistance during the period.
Rather, Twitter annotates some daily trends using extra information and provides more content by pinning a representative tweet. Sadly, the information had some distortions as it doesn’t cover all the trends.
However, the newly Grok-powered Stories brings in summaries of all top news on a user’s For You page.
Notably, X’s latest update with xAI Grok-powred chatbot serves as a selling point to its premium subscriptions. Moreover, only users with the Premium and top-tier Premium+ plans can access the Grok on the X platform.
Amid the claims to provide users summaries with Stories, X wrote a warning: “Grok can make mistakes, verify its outputs.”
Following the debut of Grok 1.5, the new Elon Musk’s AI has exceeded its rival ChatGPT-4.
The low cost of Grok makes it accessible to more users than ChatGPT-4. While Grok is available at $8 per month, ChatGPT-4’s monthly cost hovers around $20.
