Hansi Flick has officially been signed and unveiled as the new manager of FC Barcelona football club.
The deal became official on May 29, 2024, and is valid for two years, until June 3 June 30
Details of Hanis Flick’s Contract
The deal was sealed with the club’s president, Joan Laporta, and other board members.
The club’s sporting area vice president, Rafa Yuste, and the club’s sporting directors were also present.
Hansi Flick’s agent, Pini Zahavi, witnessed the deal, which transpired in the presence of other German agents.
Other members on board included Humberto Paiva, Max Bielefeld, and Joachim Rain.
The former Bayern Munich and Germany national coach will replace Xavi Hernandez, who was fired on the 24th May 2024.
This was a month after the club persuaded Xavi to remain as the manager.

Also, this was after he initially announced he would be leaving the club at the end of the season.
Notably, a statement was recently released from the club that read possible signs of his departure, to the surprise of most fans.
Although the Spaniard didn’t enjoy a great spell, these fans believe more time could have been fair enough.
Xavi Hernandez coached his last game with Barcelona, in a 2-1 away win against Sevilla on Sunday, May 26.

On Barcelona’s YouTube, Hansi Flick said: “First of all, I want to thank everyone.
It’s a big honor and also a dream for me to sign my contract here in Barcelona.
To work for this club, for this amazing club, and I, yeah, I’m happy to start.”.
“The club is unbelievable. The hours I’m here in Barcelona are fantastic because everyone here at the club loves this club. Also, everyone tries to give their best so they have success.
“The philosophy they have is similar to mine – ball possession and attacking football. These are the things I love, and we will work on that.”
“Barcelona has one of the best academies in the world. They have a good mix of experienced players and talented young players.
Hence, we have to improve them so that they can improve, and this is our job. I want to work with Deco and President Laporta.
For me, teamwork’s essential, and I’m thrilled to do it with these guys.”.
