Sensational artist, Peter Okoye of PSquare band, recently replied to his brother Paul on Instagram.
In an open letter, Peter addressed Paul’s claim of writing 99% of their band songs.
On Monday, Peter Okoye said on Instagram that he is not competing with Paul or anyone.
He added that Paul made light of his input in the PSquare band.
Furthermore, Peter Okoye said he and his twin Paul put equal efforts into building the PSquare band.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with City FM, Paul Okoye spoke about his rift with his twin, Peter.
Paul said the EFCC arrested him over a petition from his twin Peter on his account statement.
According to Paul, the EFCC went through his bank records but could not find any fault.
Paul told City FM that the EFCC declared him innocent.
However, Paul claimed that Peter did not apologize at a family meeting for reporting him to the EFCC.
Moreover, Paul had told City FM that he wrote 99% of the songs their band, PSquare, sang.
In addition, Paul said he wanted to go into solo music.
Peter Okoye Defends Input on PSquare Band
Paul Okoye on City FM said Peter’s “Ti Ejeajo” failed. Paul used the number of YouTube views as evidence.
In response to the turnout from “Ti Ejeajo,” Peter said the group had success with songs written by him.
Moreover, Peter said his brother failed to mention songs like “Busy Body,” “Roll It,” “Gimme Dat,” and “Personally.”
Peter said on Instagram that he wrote “Alingo,” “More Than a Friend,” “Shekini,” “Senorita,” Say Your Love,” and others.
Furthermore, Peter Okoye asked if hit songs like Alingo could be considered failures, as Paul claimed.
Moreover, the latest split between the PSquare brothers comes barely two years after they reunited.
