Judge Craig Revel Horwood of Strictly Come Dancing says training on the show should be tough.
The BBC professional dancing competition, Strictly Come Dancing made headlines earlier this year.
Zara Mcdermott and Amanda Abbington claimed they were bullied on the BBC show.
In response, Horwood said contestants who could not commit to the show should not have participated.
Moreover, the BBC show returned on Saturday, September 21, 2024, without the presence of Graziani Di Prima and Giovanni Pernice.
In an interview with BBC Radio WM, Horwood said dancing back in his youth was nothing similar to today.
The judge said the BBC show trains dancers to be the best version of themselves. He added that training a celebrity in professional dancing is completely different.
According to Horwood, training on Strictly Come Dancing is similar to undergoing training for the Olympics.
He added that the BBC show involves the same commitment although it is of a different category from the Olympics.
Horwood noted that every physical activity involves intense training and correction.
He strongly believes that persons who cannot be committed should not participate.
In addition, the Strictly Judge said contestants need to adhere to rules and instructions on the show.
He added that contestants must position themselves rightly when training with a partner.
Investigations are still ongoing on alleged bullying on Strictly Come Dancing.

Abbington pulled out from the BBC show as of October 2023 citing health issues.
However, actress Abbington in July claimed that her dancing partner was abusive towards her during training.
The actress added that some of the incidents during training were too unpleasant for her to recall.
Also, TV presenter Laura Whitmore alleged she had an unpleasant experience on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016.
At the time, the TV presenter opened up about her concerns regarding the show.
Moreover, BBC Director General, Tim Davie tendered an apology to offended contestants of the Strictly Come Dancing show.
